AQUA FOLLIES IS OUT!

Guys, I can’t tell you how excited I am that Liv’s novel, Aqua Follies, is finally out in the world.

I had the privilege of reading a very early copy of this book. Long story short, it might be the reason Liv and I are writing partners today.

It seems odd to me that so many of her other works have come out in the interim while this one simmered on the back burner. Whatever she’s been doing to it,  I think the wait was worth it.

I invite all of you to step back a few short decades into mid-century America and the summer Aqua Follies tour….

Aqua Follies by Liv Rancourt

The 1950s. Postwar exuberance. Conformity. Rock and roll.

Homophobia.

Russell tells himself he’ll marry Susie because it’s the right thing to do. His summer job coaching her water ballet team will give him plenty of opportunity to give her a ring. But on the team’s trip to the annual Aqua Follies, the joyful glide of a trumpet player’s solo hits Russell like a torpedo, blowing apart his carefully constructed plans.

From the orchestra pit, Skip watches Poseidon’s younger brother stalk along the pool deck. It never hurts to smile at a man, because good things might happen. Once the last note has been played, Skip gives it a shot.

The tenuous connection forged by a simple smile leads to events that dismantle both their lives. Has the damage been done, or can they pick up the pieces together?

Bonfire is out!

*blows noisemaker*

If you enjoyed meeting Thaddeus and Sara in Vespers, you’ll love their first Christmas together.

Bonfire is a shorter story that takes place within the Hours of the Night timeline, but outside of the main story arc. It’s a chance for the guys to spend a some time together and mesh their lives without demons popping up everywhere… Oh, wait! Did I mention the strange lights that keep appearing in the swamp?

Well, I’m sure they’ll still have time to trim a tree and figure out how a lapsed Hindu and a devout Catholic should celebrate the holidays.

Liv and I have this one at $0.99 (67% off)  right now to kick off the holidays.

No matter what traditions you celebrate, we wish you peace and joy during this season and throughout the coming year.

Bonfire - a holiday novella by Irene Preston and Liv Rancourt

Silent night, holy hell.

Thaddeus and Sarasija are spending the holidays on the bayou, and while the vampire’s idea of Christmas cheer doesn’t quite match his assistant’s, they’re working on a compromise. Before they can get the tree trimmed, they’re interrupted by the appearance of the feu follet. The ghostly lights appear in the swamp at random and lead even the locals astray.

When the townsfolk link the phenomenon to the return of their most reclusive neighbor, suspicion falls on Thaddeus. These lights aren’t bringing glad tidings, and if Thad and Sara can’t find their source, the feu follet might herald a holiday tragedy for the whole town.

Vespers is out today!

Liv Rancourt and I are so excited for you to meet Thaddeus Dupont and Sara Mishra!

Writing with Liv has been an incredible experience. This book was a little scary for me in some ways (well, vampire – lol). Not only is it my first paranormal, Vespers explores some concepts that might be hot-buttons for some people. But when Liv sent me her first scene and Thaddeus Dupont glided onto the page, I knew there was no turning back. Love at first scene, y’all.

If you’re wondering what it is all about, you can check out the first few chapters HERE.

If you’re ready to dive in, you can find Vespers at the retailers below:
