Haunts and Hoaxes Book 1
Noel Chandler had a good reason for leaving the L.A.P.D. for New Orleans, but when he walks into a burned out Garden District mansion, he discovers there are some things he can’t outrun. The spooks can find him anywhere.
As the resident historian for the cable show Haunts and Hoaxes, Professor Adam Morales keeps an open mind about the supernatural. Or that’s what he tells himself, until he meets a man who puts that principle to the test. Noel’s smart, sexy, and has killer cop instincts. One glance from his bedroom eyes has Adam ready to believe anything.
But is Noel haunted, crazy, or just another hoax?

About Haunted and Hours of the Night
If you’re thinking you recognize some of these characters… or maybe you’re having a hey, wasn’t this part of the Hours of the Night series??? moment.. I’ll explain!
Yes, Liv and I original wrote Haunted as an add-on to the Hours of the Night series. It was supposed to be a short, fun, one-off. But then a funny thing happened. We like Adam and Noel too much!
It seems like we weren’t alone because a bunch of you reached out to say you wanted to see Adam and Noel continue their adventures, too. Soo….
We officially split them off into their own series! Haunts and Hoaxes will always exist in the same world as Hours of the Night... space and time just won’t intersect much. You might have noticed Adam and Noel never did figure out what was going on at the Dupont residence. While we might circle back around to that mystery at another time, for now they will take their own path.
How Haunted fits in the Hours of the Night timeline.
If you are curious about the events that bring Adam and Noel together, they take place in Vespers and Nocturne, but have no direct bearing on this story except as setting. Although many readers have told us that reading the other books added depth and background to Haunted, you can jump into Haunts and Hoaxes without having read any of the Hours of the Night.
